  • 2 oz lime juice
  • 8 cups diced seedless watermelon
  • 2 oz granulated sugar
  • mint leaves (for garnish)

Steps to Make Watermelon Tequila Shot Recipe

  • Make the sugar syrup by simmering the water with the sugar and stirring it over medium heat for 1 minute, then allowing it to cool to room temperature.
  • Make a smooth puree of the watermelon in a blender.
  • Strain the watermelon juice, press gently on the solids to extract as much juice as possible.
  • Combine the lime juice, mint leaves and sugar syrup in a large pitcher then add watermelon juice and tequila. Refrigerate until chilled.
  • Pour the mixture in shot glasses and top it of with mint sprigs and watermelon wedge then serve. Enjoy.
