Selected User Reviews For Zulay Professional Citrus Juicer
Still a huge fan, although I agree with some of the criticisms (5/5)
The juicer was purchased a few months ago, but we haven't reviewed it yet because we have tried juicing a few hundred fruits. As well as our thoughts on other reviews we've read, here are what you can expect from this one As advertised, it works perfectly Our juicer has juiced limes, lemons, oranges, and we have also tried pressing non citrus fruits just because, Adding a little bit of soap and water to the juice will make it solid. If you strain it after juicing to remove the pulp and some pith, you will just get juice. The bottom line is, we like it, but there are some considerations to see if it will work for you. 1) That's a heavy load The weight is about 15 lbs. Be aware that this is a 45kg product, so take this into consideration when storing and accessing it. *br>2) We put it on top of a fridge when it's not in use, so only one of us can take it down and put it away. It's very sturdy, but you have to hold the lever firmly At the top or back of the juicer, we use the rectangular area. You may have trouble holding this steady if you're shorter than 5'5" (approximations, but I hope this helps). However, if you place it on the kitchen counter, and have to put your hand on the back to hold it steady, it will probably be easier. In addition, Zulay, if you're listening, consider how to add more weight to the rear of the unit to deal with this issue 3) The lever is heavy and sturdy, so I can understand people's concerns about safety by leaving it upright, but it is far from being perfectly balanced in the other direction, so I guess that if it is falling forward, people are bumping into it more than gravity pulling it downwards. It is important for you to be alert/careful, but we are not overly concerned. It is not very strong, but you do not need to be strong to use it. 4) This could have been ranked higher. We need to keep it steady, as it's heavy to move, but it doesn't mean that you have to be a body builder to crush fruit it just means that you need to try. Until the last piece is in place, hinges and weight are all that needs to be done You will need to press 2 inches. The work is not very physically demanding, but requires a little strength It should still be possible for athletic, non-strong people to break through the fruit without too much difficulty. **5) All areas of cleanliness -- If you press the juice out of the sides, small amounts will spray out, so either slow it down or prepare to wipe up with a quarter sheet of paper towel afterward. You should also wipe down the outside because the acid may eventually dissolve the lacquer. To clean the press, you need to clean these three main pieces This looks like a funnel and piece together). Clean up is easier with the latter two As you already know, the drips are inevitable in a press, but you can wash them off, but the press is attached to the unit so cleaning it is a bit more difficult. Although the knife only touches the fruit's outer surface, it is still damaging. 6) We've heard that the paint on some units is chipping and making its way into your juice. This sounds awful but we have no problem with If you use a wet sponge, hopefully it will fix the problem if it is either a defective unit or the acid from the orange causes chipping. We won't analyze this too deeply, but at present, we are not concerned about it. Grabbing more limes faster has led to less cramping in our hands, and we're filling ice cube trays with 1-liter bottles instead of ice cube trays with 2-4 liters We can freeze ounce pours of lime juice so we can pull them out by the margarita at a time and keep the juice for a long time. It was a pleasure working with you, Zulay, and nice job!.

There is a potential health risk (1/5)
There is nothing to like about this juicer. Purchases should not be made. I noticed metal dust falling from the above rotating joints after a few weeks of use. The product is made of junk materials at a low cost.

'Why did I wait so long?' you ask (5/5)
There's no way to tell why I didn't buy this sooner! A hand juicer has been used to extract juice from the lime trees near me, and the generous neighbors who give me lemons and pomegranates. In the end, I decided to purchase a citrus press and could not be happier with the result. It is a very sturdy juicer that has well-made, durable Parts of the bottom of the press are detachable and easy to clean, and the top of the press is easy to clean as well. The press at the top needed to be held with my left hand while pressing the handle with my right, but for me, this is not a problem. Using the new juicer, I now juice in a quarter the time and clean up is minimal. There is no better way!.

A glass of juice with a sprinkle Juicer was my highest expectation, but I did not find it to be a good product (1/5)
I had previously purchased a small electric juicer and was looking to replace it. Compared with other manual juicers, this one is easier to use and reasonably durable. While you do need to hold on to the top of the juicer with your off hand to support it, the operation overall In terms of juicers, this one is pretty effective. However, you don't get all the juice out, but you do receive anywhere from 80% to 90% Almost 85% of the work was done. Due to its ease of use, I may be willing to accept that trade off. I used to have a problem pressing down on my electric juicer and it would slip small limes, which would mean I'd have to push terribly hard and eventually my hand would hurt. So this juicer is a big improvement over my electric juicer. Despite all this, it's the paint chips that cause the most distress in the room. It is a problem, as other reviews have stated. Due to the overall positive reviews, I took a chance on the juicer, but the paint chips are an issue and a potential turn-off It's only been used a few times since I got it, and every time I'm pulling out little paint chips. Most end up on top of the push down mechanism, but dozens that you see and an unknown number too small to see find their way into the juice. You can reduce the amount of paint chips by straining through cheesecloth or a fine metal strainer, but some still make it Those of you who love pulp will enjoy the fact that it has now all been strained away.

Here's a way to get the juice flowing! This squeezer has been with us for four years After five days of using it, I have already recommended it to my friends (5/5)
With my hands, it would be impossible to squeeze the citrus fruits and get the results I get with this squeezer. Now that we are retired, we have more time to study good diet habits and citrus fruits are a major part of our diet. Having squeezed lemons, limes, oranges, and grapefruits successfully so far, we aim to continue to squeeze. It is a great product. Thanks for making it.

This is a great engineering job! Whenever I can get my hands on them, I love freshly A silent and easy-to-use juice press that is capable of pressing juice from lemons, limes, mandarins, navels, and medium-size Despite its ability to squeeze grapefruit, getting all the available juice will require a bit of creativity (5/5)
Although juice is pressed, there is pulp in it, but the quantity is not too great. This tool has some limitations that should be noted. In order to minimize the chance of the press rocking forward when you press on the lever hard and quickly, the legs do not extend far enough forward. I don't think that's a major problem, but it's something to keep in mind. In contrast, if the feet were extended forward another 3 (or 6) inches, you would have a very difficult time storing things on your counter. That's why a trade off is necessary. Don't go bonkers by pressing too hard. Last but not least, cleanup of the bottom pieces is a breeze, as a simple rinse with be done within 15 seconds. Although the top part of the sponge does not separate, the sponge is being used like a paper towel. If you complete that right away, it will take you no more than 15 seconds. It is worth mentioning that if you are in a hurry, you can turn the whole thing upside down and wash it in the sink. It was not meant to be a pun.
