Questions & Answers

It is not a good idea to do it.
There is no difference between juicers and juice extraction. Juicers draw juice (water) from With the Vitamix, you can blend plants to attain a smooth consistency. There is a requirement to add juice or water in order to properly do this, but you would be amazed at how little water is needed. For a healthy, tasty drink, go with a smoothie that is made at home with a vitamix machine. In the past, smoothies were promoted as healthy because of fibre, but that is not entirely correct. Count up how many vitamins, anti-oxidants, and minerals are in your diet In addition to the oxidants left in the water/juice, there may be other hazardous materials in the plant that need to be removed. The leaves of plants such as spinach, kale, carrots, etc., are very juicy. In addition, you can add healthy juice, protein power, Metamucil, etc. to your shopping cart. Add all of the ingredients to a Vitamix and it will mix everything together seamlessly. A smoothie is great if you want a sweet treat after a meal, but if you want to eat a healthy juice with your breakfast/meal I would recommend a juicer instead of a Vitamix. Although blending is exceptional, it doesn't extract. I hope this was helpful.
In the event that I purchase this and it is shipped to another country. I didn't even know if its covered.
Here are some Amazon links for you The Oxo 1241581 good grips jar spatula is made from good quality materials. Vitamix comes with a flat spatula that I use, but I wanted something that would be more ergonomic. It's better to order two since you may wish like I did that you did not have to suborder.

The situation is extremely dangerous! The baby I had just delivered burst upon being held by me (1/5)

The most unbelievable thing I have ever heard! While my daughter in law was holding my son, I was caught up in the moment We were blending red raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and spinach with raspberry, blackberry, beet, blueberry, beet and kefir for our granddaughter, a one-week-old. In the end, she decided that it wasn't sweet enough after she blended the ingredients and finished drinking half a glass, so she added a chopped apple to make it sweeter. One of the shards that sprang out of the bottom of the pitcher suddenly exploded while the apple was blending! The explosion I'm talking about isn't what happens when you leave the lid off (like when the lid blows open). The one I'm describing is an one-bedroom apartment Suddenly, a shard the size of an inch blew out of the unit. My kitchen was completely covered in red juice as it was such an explosive force that it flew more than ten feet and almost every inch of the space.

Is Vitamix trying to cut costs while staying at the same price? It's funny, I used to own a black 5200 model about seven Due to the fact that it was still owned by my ex, I bought this one from Amazon (2/5)

So far, I have only used it once, and will update this post once I have used it a few more times. But I must admit, something has changed. The unit runs fine, but I am concerned that something has changed since I remember my other unit being stronger than the one I have now. Further, the turn dial is a very different component because it is not nearly as smooth as the other component. I find it a little restrictive, and I would not be surprised if the workmanship has changed in any way. In my old unit dial, the resistance rolled smoothly and at just the right level. There is no way to verify if all Vitamix 5200 are the same, or possibly made in the same year, but someone at Vitamix might know of a parts supplier change, and everyone might give each other the thumbs up. Hopefully Vitamix is going for quality and be happy with current profits, cutting costs could have unintended consequences and enable competitors to take advantage of this category. I will update once I have blended a couple more things, but hopefully they are going for quality and be happy with current profits. It may be that someone from Vitamix has some answers for future purchasers, but at this price point I am a little wary. In order to prevent people from thinking of me as a mere critic, I posted a picture. Having said that, I would give it a 3 or 4 star rating if the price were For what it's worth, I assume the leadership team at Vitamix thought it was best to make the $600 cheaper to compensate for the cheaper components. And if Vitamix disagrees, then they might want to talk to Since I think it's either the other or one of them.

Blenders like this one are the best (5/5)

What an amazing blender! I love it! In the past, I have had a Cuisinart blender which was good but didn't work as well with My smoothies also include frozen bananas, blueberries, and strawberries. My smoothies are made with all sorts of hard and soft things in it, such as carrots, ginger, etc. I also slice up carrots, ginger, and other hard things for it. During times of high productivity, the old blender would work hard. As a result, I was concerned that it would eventually burn out and that the smoothies would come out with little pieces of the harder vegetables. My daily dose of Vitamin D does not even require me to cut anything up Perhaps I will cut a carrot in half, but I can just add a chunk of ginger, along with any other fruit or vegetables, including a hunk of lime with the skin still attached, and ramp up this blender. After starting on low, I turn the dial up, hit the lever for max and turn it off again. There's an almost jet-engine like sound when it starts up, far quieter of course, but with the same amount There is no struggle while blending the smoothie, and it comes out silky smooth. There is something beautiful and delicious about it. In addition, the blender can even make soups for you from friction. *br>*br>I selected this model with the tall thin container because I read test results that showed shorter, wider containers introduced a lot more air into smoothies, making the texture less appealing. I was prepared for this likely to be an issue (and I was aware of it already) since the blender will likely not fit under an upper cabinet on the counter. It is just stored right beside the motor in the container.

It isn't just a blender, it is the way we live (5/5)

This is more than a If you want to spend money on one of these things, you need to tell yourself that. While I am aware there is the "Vitamix vs Blendtech" age old debate, I've never used a Blendtech blender because our Vitamix has been a workhorse for more than a decade and never fails us! This is what my parents had, it is what we all have in our family, and we all love it. The difference is probably the same as Ford vs. My son is 3 years old, and has autism and severe sensory issues, making him the pickiest eater on the In general, he will drink almost anything we put in his cup if it passes his tests for appearance, smell, and texture. We would have been unable to feed our child with the right type of protein, fresh fruits and vegetables and all the other things that his growing brain and body need if it weren't for the Vitamix. Since the Vitamix is so amazing at blending everything flawlessly, we can sneak anything into his smoothies and he won't know what we're doing. With no chunks, no pulp, and no fuss, no matter what we throw in there, it's smooth, creamy, and delicious. It isn't just used every day for his "dinner", I use it every day for my green smoothies and my husband uses it for his protein shakes as well. It is a machine that gets a lot of abuse everyday and sees us using frozen fruits, ice cubes, etc. For five years now it has worked just as well as when we bought it. The parts have not been replaced and there has been no maintenance required. It just needs to be cleaned and cared for regularly. It's boom time. The blender is so much more than just a small appliance, it's a lifestyle.

This was an awful and overpriced experience (1/5)

I have a blender that walks across the counter because the motor is so unbalanced. When the volume is turned up to full power, this music is way too loud. The blender releases a faint aroma of burning electricity when it is in use. As far as power cord retention is concerned, it looks as if it was designed in the 1960s. There is some benefit to it, but it is not ideal. In the end, I'm getting rid of it and switching back to the Breville hemisphere.

The quality is not up to par with what we've come to expect from Vitamix (1/5)

The device broke within two months of receiving it! We do not know if it was an "undocumented refurb" or not. We don't have a good time for them, though it is perfect for them.
