I find it to be extremely useful I was pleasantly surprised when I read the syrup recipe

The machine shaved and crushed ice as expected, although as the blade dulls, it crushes more ice I have been using it quite a bit this summer (I have four kids, plus neighbors love to use it, too), and it has held up An easy way to save time is to So that you don't have to buy syrup constantly, you can make your own syrup. This is how we make our recipes - 1 box Kool Aid* - 2 cups white sugar* - 1 cup Sugar Added 1/2 Tablespoon of Citric Acid (Sour Cherry = Cherry Koolaid and Citric Acid = Citric Acid) if you want a "sour" flavor pulled out some picnic ketchup and mustard bottles from the dollar store to put the syrup in - The kids will not have any problems using it. If I were to buy it again, I would.

Makes a lot of noise as it makes snow cones quickly

My wife found this unit at a garage sale (she became addicted to snow cones). It replaced her old one. In view of our rating (4 out of 5 stars) three weeks after purchase, we are generally satisfied with the product. It is roughly cylinder-shaped and has something like a diameter of 4 inches. The ice hopper (which you insert ice cubes into) has a similar form. It measures a little over 25 inches tall and is a little over a foot deep. Approximately 75 inches from top to bottom, and 4 inches from bottom to top. During use, the hopper of the machine is covered by the handle with the ice shield when both the power switch is on and the handle is turned on. Afterward, the machine rapidly converts an ice cube hopper full into snow cone ice in about five seconds (which would be more than enough to make a decent-sized snow cone for anyone). As a result, you get a lot of snow cone ice in a short space of time. However, the one thing I can think of that can be problematic is the noise. It is similar to the sound of an old garbage disposal circa 1980. The noise isn't so loud that pets or small children will flee the room, but it is loud enough that people will be unable to speak over it (although you could speak over it if you really wanted to). As with most ice shaver machines, this one is really designed to transform ice cubes into snow cones in a short amount of time, so the sound it makes was obviously not considered a primary Although we don't think a five second hold in conversation is a big deal, some people may think this is a problem. I would recommend to others, but overall, we are happy with our purchase.

This is the best thing ever

This is the best thing ever. Torani syrup without sugar is what I use with it. I love it! Before crushing ice cubes, allow them to sit out for 3 to 5 minutes.

A single summer will not wear it out

It appeared that it would last for more than one summer, so I purchased it. Having diabetes limits my choices of snow cones since sugar free versions are not available. As a result, I always make my own syrup and have a snow cone whenever I feel like a snack I can indulge in without raising my blood sugar level. During one summer, the machine pays for itself based on the snow cone price. Snow cones are even a thing now that my husband eats them. It is very hard to break the ice by biting into it, but it stays frozen to the last bite.

This product needs to be improved as far as the blade and functionality are concerned

The garbage is thrown away after less than ten We do not know whether those pieces were swallowed or not because the blade is all chipped. Yet, I discovered the blade had all been chipped away. There are times when it does not work. This will be returned as soon as possible.

A worthwhile investment

A worthwhile investment. As of today, I am still using it. In it I placed an ice cube. Placing sashimi on ice will then complete the process. I love it. My sushi always turns out great thanks to it. I want to get tips from customers more often.

For us, this was an excellent purchase

Granulated ice about six standard cubes per helping. Some people compare it to county fair ice, a real treat*br>not a big mess at all, but a little loud but not for too.
