It's a cool knife! It's super sharp (3/5)
Rusting now that it has been updated! You're amazing, and I love you so much. Buying a few more to add to my collection. That's a very sharp shot! This is an easy-to-use item. The set I'm making will be my own. All I wish I knew about storing them is how to do it. ******************************************************************************************************************** - Updated. Today's delivery was received. The current version is used. My knife was very sharp and I had no problem cutting tomatoes with it. When I cut onions and jalapenos, the process seemed dull and time-consuming. The knife wouldn't even cut through the skin of tomatoes when I went back to cut them. To cut it through, I had to poke it with the point. Having said that, I'm not sure whether I'm going to return this pairing. Those are too As much as I wanted to love it, I couldn't. I have one more update for you I have to pay $6 if I want to return it. You will need to pay $7. 97 What a travesty that is. My knife is useless so I guess I'll have to deal with it. Three months later, here is another update - The blade of this knife is already beginning to rust! The stains are not caused by water.

A good paring knife and an impressive There is nothing to complain about in terms of construction or functionality of this paring knife (4/5)
Printed advertising literature, a ridiculous "lapel pin" (? ), and a gift box with magnetic closure. Cut the price of the knife a few dollars, and you'll have an excellent $20 knife. Drop the excessive and unnecessary packaging, and the price of the knife will be roughly the same. I noticed that the knife arrived with several longitudinal scratches on the blade, which I suspect are the result of debris that got embedded in the thick plastic sheath with the blade guard. This does not affect the blade's utility or function, but it still seems confusing to allow scratches when the knife is otherwise over the top in presentation. However, this knife is still a great buy in that it offers materials, construction and cutting capabilities at least equivalent to the big names. Invest in brand names at a fraction of the cost.

The knife is great (3/5)
I needed a bird's beak knife, the price is reasonable, and it looks good. It's a comfortable handle and the blade is sharp the sheath is a nice way to prevent the blade from getting damaged. Honestly, I don't think I can ask for more. However, I am docking 2 stars for the ridiculous amount of packaging and stuff that comes with The knife is packaged in a cardboard box with foam insert, there is information booklet, a card cover, a microfibre cloth with bag and a metal pin. Maybe I left something out, I don't know. only serves to produce waste. I do not need an information booklet when I buy a paring knife, I do not require a sheath with my knife and I do not want a pin with the logo and name of the manufacturer.

They work well and remain sharp for a long time (4/5)
For more than twenty years, I've worked in commercial kitchens, mainly in 4-star hotels You can find 5 star restaurants there. Since the 1980s, I have used Henckles and Wustof knives. This is the first Dalstrong I have used. When you need to cut small produce or vegetables, a small serrated paring knife can come in handy, as they're sharp and easy to use. As I have used the Dalstrong knife for several months, I was quite surprised at what a high quality knife it is. The handle, blade, weight, and butt of the knife are excellent, and it has a very sharp edge. Despite its good looks, the knife is very useful when transporting. The sheath is a great way to keep the blade blunt when in storage. There is only one problem I have with this knife -- the serrations are a little too aggressive for someone with such a long blade. Due to the 3 being a small, more delicate tool, you will be cutting small items. Imitating a grape tomato, I use a 5" blade and have little surface area to grab onto the item. In a sawing motion, the sharpness of the blade tends to grab onto the item and push it away rather than cutting it into it. Due to the blade's short length, little cutting space is available for the knife to saw before cutting. Most serrated paring knives that I've used previously have less aggressive serrations. I just want to share my thoughts. It is an excellent knife and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Dalstrong. As I mentioned above, I enjoy the quality of the knife.

Good for me, but not good enough (5/5)
Because of my dislike for serrated blades on traditional steak knives, I bought this knife to use as a steak knife. This knife came sheathed in a Besides a product pamphlet, a support card, a Dalstrong pin, and a Dalstrong banner, the package included extra pamphlets. The Dalton Banner is strong! I realize that the banner was actually a small cleaning cloth with the Dalstrong Lion logo, but to you and me, it was As if I had just been knighted by Queen Elizabeth and this was my knight's dagger, I felt very honored. I was totally blown away by your presentation, which I greatly appreciated. As beautiful as the pictures depict, the pairing knife is in fact quite impressive. I was able to cut with it immediately after it arrived, but it wasn't It doesn't bother me to sharpen and hone my own knives anyway since I enjoy it so much. It remains to be seen how the knife will hold up in the long run. I do assume this knife will last a long time, especially if it is used as a steak knife or a pairing knife.
