Selected User Reviews For Breville Die-Cast Motorized Citrus Juicer
There is a poor quality of plastic used to construct this shaft, no matter how strong it might be (1/5)
Oct. 31, 2017 is the date on which the product was delivered to my residence. I had to replace the drive shaft after less than five pounds of orange press. It is a solid-looking appliance, but it didn't make it after five pounds. There is not a small crack here, but a vertical fracture that is long and wide. There is a problem with this shaft because it is made of poor quality plastic and no matter how strong the rest of the machine is, this shaft is a product oversight and a consumer disappointment. The USA number on the back of the User Guide didn't work when I called. I was kept on hold for a long time, finally gave up and left my phone number with the answering system. I am sharing this here in case Breville can see it and advise me what should be done.

Take the commercial route A minimal amount of use led to death (1/5)
It used to get very hot and not work for a while. There is now a burnt rubber smell coming from the unit. The return window with Amazon is closed, so I will have to communicate directly with Breville about the repair or replacement. you're juicing more than 30 pieces of fruit, it might be a good idea to find another juicer.

I really like this juicer (4/5)
It juices citrus fruits fast. This juicer catches the pulp in a strainer and you don't have to keep emptying the strainer because of the two fins that keep cycling through it so the juice flows through as the pulp accumulates. Citrus juicers are powerful machines that can juice a lot of citrus quickly. The only complaint I have is that the rod on which the fruit is fitted is plastic. Plastic rods like those don't seem very sturdy, and they don't look like they can last very long. I actually got a damaged rod on my first attempt with the first one I got. Although there might have been some user error here, in that the rod might not have been lined up properly on the juicer part, the fact that the rod got damaged so easily is a little alarming. I got the item replaced and have not encountered any issues with the new one, but I am a little paranoid. The item is built of good materials, is heavy, and seems of high quality except for this critical part. The fact that the juice is extracted as well as it is in such a short time makes this the best citrus juicer available.

The parts are made of cheap plastic, but the frame is stainless steel (1/5)
Unlike the fruit dome itself, the connector on the "Fruit Dome" is made of flimsy plastic that wears down and breaks quickly. Because the dome cannot be replaced just by itself, it has to be purchased together with the fruit. According to their customer service, "Parts and accessories are not covered under the warranty, you would need to purchase a replacement dome as well if you need one. ". Since I got it up to the end of last citrus season, I haven't been able to use it for over five months now. The machine worked great while it was running, it was very quiet and looked nice and a lot faster than juicing by hand, so I guess I will just wait for the replacement parts to be made, I don't think the next one will last as long at least. I am updating After dealing with their customer service several times and trying to resolve the issue, I downgraded to one star. Almost no sooner than a year has passed, it is trash.

There's no point in spending money on this (2/5)
The one I owned and used for several years is still in my possession. Everything works out fine in the end. It's not worth the money by a long shot. Given the price (and I also expected it to be able to produce high volumes of juice for a long time), I expected it to last for Both are true, but both are wrong. I had mine for about 2 years before it started breaking down and now that it finally quit after about 5 years, it fits the same description as any Juicer out there in that it is designed for high juice production but, as you use it, it gets stressed and breaks. It is true that one could say that is the expected lifespan of such a device, but hey, I can buy one for 50 bucks and get the same results. It is a waste of time.

This Breville 800CPXL Die comes in a set of three It is a very good product Cast stainless steel citrus juicer (5/5)
It is very useful and efficient. This juicer is outstanding in comparison with the other electric juicers I have had for more than 30 years. Whenever I can, I purchase fresh Indian River citrus fresh off the trees from Al's Family Farms in Fort Pierce, Florida. Since November of every year, I have been buying boxes of citrus each month from Al's Family Farms. I juice Ruby Red Grapefruit, Navel Oranges, Temple Oranges, Unique Oranges, and my favorite Valencia Oranges in the spring (Al's is a great company, btw). Juicing that much is quite the task! Making juice from this wonderful citrus fruit is a breeze with this Breville juicer. You can take apart and put back together the juicer parts yourself, and the parts can be put in the dishwasher. looks brand new after it is cleaned in the dishwasher. Despite a large pour spout, this helps to keep seeds and excess pulp from getting into the pourer. It is operated by pulling down on a lever and lowering a slice of citrus, making it easy for even people with severe arthritis to maneuver. It almost seems effortless for the machine to squeeze out every single drop of juice from the citrus. It was the first time I used it that I was sold. I had years of experience using electric juicers that felt like juicing was a workout at the gym. I love how easy it is to use this juicer. This juicer does not leak juice or splatter on your countertops, so you can juice cleanly. Thank you for making this juicer available to me. The price tag may seem high, but what a huge jump.

Despite only having used the juicer three times, I had to return it (1/5)
My juicer's overheating and turning off in the middle of the process made me have to return it after I used it for only 3 times. Juicing 1 cup of juice would lead to its shutting off after a short time. A $45 juicer I also used previously had the capacity to juice for over an hour and never need to shut off, but my $180 juicer could barely juice for 5 minutes. The duration of the video is 10 minutes.
