The size of the item is incorrectly described

While I was going to buy a set of these (early 2020), its dimensions were a bit unclear from the description. The julep spoon I have is too small to use such as the one Greg used in How to Drink I wanted to be cool like Greg As I was using my glass mixer, I was left-handed. Even with 2 hands, the julep spoon won't fit into a cocktail mixer if it had the right size, but it is possible to use a julep spoon for one-handed operation It is only suitable for left-handed users. It would allow me to use my other hand to steady the cocktail glass in order to reduce spills.

It takes barely any double strain anymore to get a perfect hawthorne

This was my first purchase from Cocktail Kingdom after hearing bad things about their service and quality of products. I am glad I did because it is a heavy, well manufactured hawthorne strainer that looks like it'll There is also a wide selection of spare springs to choose from. The Educated Barfly turned me on to this article. The only thing I would've liked is to have received the stainless version instead of the copper one. It would be better not to touch or put it in drinks because I do not really know how durable the coating is. However, this remains one of the best products on the market.

It is not cheap, but it is A gold one was given to me

Fits onto a mixing glass easily, and you can pour confidently knowing it will stay upright. The quality is immediately noticeable - it's a bit thicker than bargain versions, and the springs are tightly spaced so they can capture more ice chips. If you're serious about your mixology hobby, you should consider buying one that costs more than a cheap one. If you've got the cash and enjoy making cocktail recipes, I think you'll really appreciate it. Having a range of color choices is also a good feature.

The spring is nice and dense

A lot of Hawthorne strainers have wire springs that are so loose that a finger could be easily passed through them. A strainer defeats its purpose completely if it does that. The one I have in mind is not Drinks are filtered very effectively as a result of the spring being dense and tight. Does fit snugly a standard mixing glass and is also wide enough to fit wider utensils (e. g.

It's too small for the scalloped strainer

To use with my Barfly mixing glass, I purchased a fancy copper scalloped julep strainer. The product appears to be well made but is too small to serve any purpose. Despite the ice free edges, it can't wedge itself in place and seems like it would let a lot of ice out. Although, it is not the right size for a pint glass, either, or even a small Boston shaker. For anyone stirring in one of these, this should work for them. But for a full size mixing glass, it won't.

This is a great size for the home! There was some debate whether I should get one that was smaller or larger, but I am really glad I chose this size

No matter what you're using it for at home, whether a small whiskey glass or Margarita glasses, this is perfect for you.

The side is wonderful, and I wish I had picked it up Since I've wanted one for so long, I'm excited to see this one

This is the longest I have waited in a long time. As I make my Cosmopolitans, I allow the sheath of ice to be visible on top. I think this is very well done. Sturdy construction makes it very durable.

Crystals come out clean after using this product

Crystals and rocks need to be cleared, which is why I purchased this. Is suitable for the purchase you are looking for.
