Children of the Corn Cocktail Recipe

Children of the Corn Cocktail Recipe

Candy corn is a popular Halloween candy, and many cocktails have been created with the fun little treats. Recipes for candy corn-infused vodka usually start with rum, but the children of the corn recipe takes a completely different route. Developed by Bar Director Yael Vengroff at The Spare Room, this cocktail recipe turns a tequila into a bloody mary. The bar is located inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, which is one of the most haunted places in the world. In the building, the spirits of legends like Marilyn Monroe, Carole Lombard, and Montgomery Clift are said to live in eternal peace. Candy infusion vodka only takes a few hours, so you can prepare it the day of the party. If you prepare the cinnamon syrup at the same time, then you’ll be all set for the party. The cocktail can also be prepared much more quickly than appears to be the case at first glance, as you need just a little seltzer and lemon juice. The drink will look fabulous when adorned with candy corn garnishes, so it will surely win over all your Halloween guests.

Reminder

It’s possible to find good tasting vodkas at an affordable price, so choosing one of them can help you achieve the ideal balance between quality and cost. However, quality of the base makes a huge difference. If the vodka used for the infusion is cheap, it may be tempting to pass on this step.
