Sarsaparilla mix and cinnamon schnapps adds great taste to the whiskey. Root beer is an excellent substitute for sarsaparilla. The whiskey and schnapps can also be paired well with birch beer or cream soda.

  • 1/2 oz cinnamon schnapps
  • 1 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
  • 4 oz sarsaparilla
  • kosher salt (for the rim)
