The award-winning team behind The Dead Rabbit opened Blacktail earlier this year, its homage to American bars thatmoved to Cuba during Prohibition. Guests are greeted at this Battery Park City bar with a frozen daiquiri and an 88-page menu offering nearly 50 cocktails. Drinks are broken into five categories — highball, punch, sour, old-fashioned, and cocktail — and include drinks like a gin and pineapple punch, a rum and coke with champagne, and a modern version of a mojito, which they call a Southside. Like the drinks, the food menu reflects the Americans-in-Cuba theme.
